Grand old party, the moonlanding, freedom of speech, Civil rights movement, opportunities that breaks borders, justice for all, right to life, the constitution that inspired both the american, french and norwegian founding fathers.

There is no place on earth that can fill the thankfulness I have towards the US.

They stood up for our rights in WW2 and paid with their blood the price on my freedom.

Freedom is  possible through american sacrifice.

In God and America i trust.

    • The drugs america makes are what’s keeping you living.

The drugs you inhale from Afghanistan, Colombia or Mexico are making you think like a dopehead.

      • you’re the poster-child for why abortion should be legal and acceptable in society.

For one, I don’t do drugs.

The HERB I sometimes enjoy, actually is grown in the Netherlands, where I can buy it, and enjoy it, LEGALLY.

I do not support illegal narcotics. I’m pro legalization, based on the fact that we could make cannabis a state taxed venture, and get rid of all the criminal pot dealers. If it were legal, no one would buy from criminals, so they would have to stop. People are going to smoke, whether you like it or not, so I think it is better that the money supports honest working people, and part of it goes back to our government as taxes.

Taxes to spend on drug rehabilitation programs, increased border control, increased police presence all over the map, etc.

Here is a simple math problem:

10,000 people in Oslo smoke, on average 1 gram of cannabis, per day. At a cost of 100 kroner, this results in 1.000.000 kroner in revenue each day. The import cost of quality cannabis, in large quantities ranges from about 15-40 kroner per gram. Producing it in domestically would lower that cost. So, you can assume that about 900.000 kroner would be made each day, in Oslo alone. If you assumed we taxed cannabis, like we do cigarettes, 250.000 kroner would be collected in taxes, every day, in Oslo alone. How many cops would that pay for? Remember, 250.000, every day.

Now, consider the number of smokers being possibly more than twice that I used in my example, and you will be close to the estimates of SSB (Statistisk Sentralbyrå). These are people buying illicit drugs, financing all kinds of evil.

Would it not be better if they gave their money to hard working people, who ran legal coffeeshops, and paid their taxes to the government, which in turn paid for rehabilitation programs and more police?

Consider what happens now. Money is leaving the country, as we speak, in the pockets of terrorists and traffickers, and money is being spent on police and rehabilitation programs, that Norwegian citizens who do not use cannabis pay. Is that not unfair? Is that not wrong?

Would it not be a better solution to legalize and tax cannabis, seeing how people are going to smoke, regardless of the legality, and there being a chance of putting their money to better use, than the terrorists who control the drug trade are?

And if this is the point where you say, we need more punishment for those who smoke or use cannabis, I will enlighten you once more. A cannabis user, if the cannabis is not from a dealer who supports terrorists, hurts no one but him/herself. If that is a crime, so is smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol. If you put cannabis users in jail and give them hefty fines, all you do is ensure they become bigger criminals, because not only do they have to pay off the fines. They might get in debt with their dealer, because their stash got seized, and that will force them into a life of crime. Especially, considering how hard it is to get a well paying job when you have been in jail.

So, if you want cannabis to be banned, you basically want society to be fucked up, and for it to get worse as time passes.

        thanks asshole!

thanks for creating criminals, thanks for letting criminals come to our beautiful country and make money for terrorist organizations, by keeping cannabis illegal!
